2018年7月にPS4版、2020年6月にはSwitch移植版が発売された『マッドランナー』の続編となる『スノーランナー』。オフロード向けの車両に乗り込み、地図とコンパスだけを頼りに悪路を走破して目的地に資材を届けるドライビングシミュレーターだ。
海外はもちろんのこと、国内でも2020年9月の発売から根強い人気を誇っており、先月には海外版発売1周年を記念してリリースされた無料コンテンツ「Anniversary DLC」と、1つ目のシーズンパス対象となる最後の大型アップデートDLC「Season 4 - New Frontiers」の配信を国内外のPSストアで開始。
また、発売から「シーズンパス」として配信してきた1つ目のシーズンパスは「Year 1 Pass」に名前を変え、2年目のスノーランナーをさらに充実させるための本作2つ目となるシーズンパス「Year 2 Pass」の配信もスタート！
